First, we think it's important to create guidelines and systems to ensure all content meets both user needs and business objectives.

Second, we want to make sure the content development phase of your project is as painless as possible.

Content strategy can include any or all of the following components:

IA consultation and support
We make sure content exists (or can be created) to meet recommended site requirements. We'll happily inventory existing content, identify gaps, and evaluate possible sources for additional material.

Often, we'll also weigh in on things like menu labels, or how best to use those pesky "flexible content" spaces on a wireframe.

Project planning, workflow and management
Your content strategist will oversee the content development process, including finding and managing the writer(s), soliciting stakeholder feedback, and keeping track of revisions.

Most importantly, we create and "own" the site content inventory. These simple spreadsheets detail all content requirements, source content locations, and other relevant project details.
