Hello.

Right now, things at Brain Traffic are not “business as usual.”

In late March, the country went into lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We had about six weeks to transform Confab (our annual content strategy conference) into a virtual event.

Then, on May 25, four Minneapolis policemen murdered George Floyd. So we cut business hours in half to spend time serving our community and supporting our families.

We expect several more months of social unrest and COVID-19. We do not expect to return to “business as usual” anytime soon.

In fact, we don’t want to. So here’s what’s changing.

First, please read Brain Traffic’s post and plan of action in response to the murder of George Floyd.

Second, we won’t be taking on any new projects or consulting work for now as our team spends time re-examining our way forward as a small business. (You can still contact us to talk about future needs.)

Here’s what won’t change: We exist to elevate and advance the practice of content strategy. Through the lens of content strategy, we help clients empower audiences to take meaningful action. And we want that action to be for good.
